AEC is the ONLY 100% FFE officially registered, originating, growing, processing and export company of dried fruits, edible seeds, and nuts in China. We pride ourselves in having the strictest quality control in China. AEC has been operating in China since 1984 and currently has 11 buying & quality control stations throughout China.  Since 2002 we have been planting & growing some of our own crops under the direction of our agricultural, research & development department. Via this network, we buy our products directly from farmers where we implement our first quality control. The product is then sorted, cleaned, and processed in our own plants or in our subcontracted plants supervised by our own staff. In all our plants we implement & maintain Western hygiene procedures and quality control under western management. Finally, we export the finished product ourselves. All steps of the process are under AEC’s control; therefore, we have better crop information, better quality control, better logistical control, and better cost control – which translates to better “service” to our customers.
 

AEC has built in 2002 a new processing plant in Dalian (Liaoning province) with state of the art Western and Chinese sorting, cleaning and packing equipment. Products processed in this plant are fully ISO and HACCP/BRC/IFS compliant and can be directly used, without further processing, in the bakery, roasting, candy manufacturing and retail pack industry. Through the use of the latest color sorting equipment, laser scanners, infra red scanners, conventional as well as electronic metal detectors, AEC has made incredible advance in product quality and specifications. These refined processes allow us to ship products to be used without further cleaning and/or processing at overseas destinations. This means added value for our customers in terms of reduced costs and has given us preferred supplier status to some of the most demanding customers around the world.
